How It Works
From Existing Cameras to Active Remote Monitoring.
RemoteVig turns compatible security camera infrastructure into an actively monitored security operation.

- 06
Incident Detected & Handled
Activity is verified and handled according to your agreed protocol.
- 07
Incident Documented
Actions and observations are recorded for your team’s follow-up.
Camera Compatibility
Compatibility depends on your cameras, viewing angles, remote access method, and whether critical areas are covered. During assessment, we review what can realistically be monitored before service begins. RemoteVig is not primarily a CCTV installation company.
Connectivity Requirements
Stable internet to the camera system is essential for live remote observation. Bandwidth and uptime expectations are reviewed during setup so everyone understands what reliable monitoring depends on.
Customer Responsibilities
Monitoring works within the foundation you provide. Customers are responsible for:
- Appropriate cameras and coverage for agreed areas
- Network connectivity and remote access
- Current escalation contacts
- Clear response protocols agreed before monitoring starts
Monitoring Expectations
Operators observe agreed areas according to the program you define. When relevant activity appears, it is verified using available camera views. Verified activity is handled per your protocol and applicable local procedures.
We do not guarantee crime prevention, police response, specific response times, or emergency outcomes.
Response & Escalation Process
Before monitoring begins, you define who to notify, in what order, and under what conditions. That agreed protocol guides how verified activity is handled—alongside applicable local procedures.
Multiple Locations
Multi-site programs can use site-specific monitoring areas, contacts, and escalation steps. A warehouse, jobsite, and office can each follow the protocol that matches how that property operates.
Connectivity & Camera Outages
Camera or connectivity outages can interrupt live monitoring for affected views. During onboarding, we discuss how outages are identified and how communication should work when a view is unavailable.
Common Questions
Do my cameras need to be brand-new?
No. RemoteVig is designed to work with compatible existing systems where coverage, access, and connectivity support professional remote monitoring.
What if my internet connection fails?
Reliable connectivity is a customer responsibility for remote monitoring. Outages can interrupt live observation for affected views. We discuss network expectations during assessment.
Can you monitor multiple locations?
Yes. Each site can have its own monitoring areas, contacts, and escalation protocol.
Who decides how RemoteVig responds to activity?
You do—through the response and escalation protocol agreed before monitoring begins, applied alongside applicable local procedures.
What are customers responsible for?
Appropriate cameras and coverage, network reliability, remote access, accurate contacts, and clear protocols. RemoteVig provides professional monitoring within that agreed framework.
Do you guarantee police response or crime prevention?
No. Outcomes depend on the situation, camera coverage, connectivity, and the protocol you define. We do not guarantee crime prevention, police response, or specific emergency results.
